👍Nice one, Kaity. I enjoy your creek videos. We used to get that azolla floating plant at a Bulimba Creek offshoot at Wishart, but it comes and goes. And is it possible that those mystery underwater fish were tilapia?
Katie, I love all your shows and your fish and you fish tanks at homaybe. Maybe maybe you should do more outside. Catching fish.🐦🐠
In NSW this is illegal so check the laws in your state and taking fish from the wild can infect your other fish.
Nice video 😊 I'm from brissy, there's a heap of hidden creeks through out brisbane!
That turtle you found is a saw shelled turtle ( Myuchelys latisternum)
Hey Kaity, I’m in New Mexico, USA and I love watching your videos. Especially when you show us the different fish and wildlife in your area. Be safe and take care!!
Where is this spot
looks like a type of side neck turtle.
❤ hey Kathy love watching your videos I live over here in Melbourne an over here blue tongue lizards and long neck turtles we don't need a licence for the I have got blue tongue lizards two of them I used to have a turtle but sadly he died
This was GREAT! I love that you never give up!
The weed has been there for a few months now. Back in summer 2023, when I was setting mosquito traps we visited this and other sites. The creek downstream was just rock, no grass no weeds. The area below the tree was the only water and there were Tilapia in there. Its a good place to visit.
Think that bird was a Restless Flycatcher, just in case anyone cared! Love this style of video, thanks for putting out so much quality content!
Great video as always! Kaity is one of few on youtube who do this type of catch and release videos just to appreciate nature’s beauty and I like it!
Love your outdoor adventures and easy going commentary. Keep up the good work Katy

15:40 Very smart idea!
The stuff covering the creek is called azolla its a very invasive plant kinda like duckweed
That was so chaotic 😂 I can't believe you managed to catch something with a bucket, random cable and hair clips.
Honestly great video and good on you for going back again with all your gear.
Your mystery fish at 18:35 definitely doesn't look like a native. It looks very cichlidy. Another You Tuber was catching pearl cichlids at this location so it could be one. Enjoyed your adventures on day 1 more.
hey Kaity, you should try catching some fish at Rocksberg Swimming Hole up near Caboolture. My partner and I have been up there a few times and have caught heaps of rainbowfish, gudgeon and what I think are spangled perch. There's also some baby eel-tailed catfish up there atm!
I like watching your outdoor adventures. You should bring us to the coast, maybe have a look through some rock pools?
💙💜💚💛🧡❤
i think you a clumsy girl sometimes but i like it.
Love your resourcefulness. Been there myself. Out to the field. Oops! Forgot something. Love your videos.
what weed ? that floating plant ?
Girl don’t get ur ass in that water!
love your adventures Kaity!!
I was wondering about Crocodiles. Here in Florida, there could be an alligator in any body of water.
Literally went to this same spot yesterday to collect some rainbows. So good to see so many purple spot gudgeon as they are pretty rare had to take some home. Great spot and great video 👍
Damn Girl, You got junk in the trunk
Vegemite it's not just for turtles anymore!
I know that turtle he's a real mobber that one The cops
ain't the only ones looking for him. he is of the species bicatch. He is found in a bucket when you get home end all the fish you caught that were in your bucket or in his belly. Having put him through such drama and transporting him so far from his home the ethical thing to do is feeding more fish. Seriously though I had the soft shell turtles they were kind of large and they stepped all over my monster fish. I took them back. Luv ya.
I was laughing so much. This is so cool that you share everything. Thank you!
I've followed you for some time now, and I really enjoy your content. Are you able to catch and keep your native fish? If so, how about a native fish tank?? Thanks!!!
nice catch.
Hi Kaity, love your videos, especially the catch videos. I’ve always been fascinated my Australia, it’s landscapes, fascinating wildlife and fauna. So more on Australia’s fascinating underwater creatures is a big plus. Love your tanks too. African cichlids are some of my favorites aquarium fish but also love to learn and see Australia’s endemic fishes
খুব ভালো লাগলো আপু,❤️❤️❤️
This reminds me of my childhood,,, Me and my younger brother used to catch fish in our towels…
I kinda enjoy these videos more than the aquascaping ones…. This is so refreshing…
This brought back memories of my childhood also catching neon like fish in creeks on the island of Mauritius.
It's a shame to see the degradation of the waterways since your last visit. love your positive can do attitude and your approach to fish keeping. Thanks.
I hope we have something like that here in the PH
Love this type of content! Great work Kaity!!!
Oh Kaity 😂 You had a hard start, forgetting traps, dropping the mic….flustered for sure! 😂 But hey, you went with it and didn’t let it get you down or spoil your intended content, and thats what matters. Great video, it’s fun to hang out with you and your adventures. My 5 aquariums are doing well, a little too well, I have an explosion of guppies and cherry shrimp! Time for me to think about what population control measures I need to implement, because I am definitely not getting tank number 6 🥴
