It looks like there is a white patch on the bottom of its tail. I think that’s unique to walleye

I’m seeing saugeye here. While others are correct in the coloration being variable in walleye, and the white patch on the lower end of the tail and anal fins, I’m seeing some blotches on the dorsal fin normally seen in sauger. Hybrids are not terribly uncommon at all in rivers.
