I recently picked up a Brooklyn Kayak PK12. It came full stocked with some very nice equipment, but I understand that this kayak is a mass produced Chinese model that is also sold by Native, Bonafide, Hoodoo, and a few others. The only thing wrong with the kayak is that it is missing a piece of hardware that connects the rudder cable to the rudder plate. You can see in the picture, it is essentially a bolt with an internal Allen screw and the whole assembly is held in place with a snap ring.
I was hoping someone could point me towards somewhere I could purchase this piece of hardware, nobody seems to sell any replacement parts for these (I'm assuming that they just get bulk delivered kayaks and slap their label on it), but someone has to make this bolt assembly somewhere, I just don't even know what it is called which is making my googling difficult.
