Are these Bonafide 130 kayaks stable to stand on? Or requires a level of physical condition….developed core muscles like surfers.

  1. That one isn’t. If you took the 200 lbs of extraneous kit off, it’d be a lot faster, lighter, and stable.

  2. Easier than a surfboard to stand on but still requires some balance and physical fitness in flat water. If you weigh more than 200 lbs, are super tall, or are in choppy water boats like this can get very tippy quickly and will flip the second they hit a branch or rock, or when you hook a good sized fish.

The only real benefit of standing in a fishing kayak is being able to see into the water if you are looking for fish. All other aspects of the fishing experience are greatly reduced lol. The guy in this picture also has his boat severely overloaded and is carrying multiple electrical components, which makes standing up an unnecessary risk in my opinion. If you dump a battery and a bunch of bullshit into a river doing something like this you are polluting and being a bad steward of the fishery
