Before I feel asleep I put a new mystery snail in my 10 gallon, and when I woke up this is on his head. The temp is 78° and I run a dual 10-40g sponge sponge filter with a 10 gallon airpump. Other than a heater, sponge filter, smooth rock decoration with holes to hide in, two fake leaf hammocks, a fake floating log, and plants (anubias and floaters right now) the rest of my water parameters will be in the comments. Please I want help him recover, and other than water changes with salt and stress coat I don't know what else to do.
Current fish in there too rn is 7 neon tetras, 2 octos, 1 mystery snails, and the betta it's self

My tank set up
Maybe it’s growing horns to fit its name? 🤷♂️
He a big boy. Maybe he scraped himself on those Little Rock decos, I have the same ones and the insides can be jagged. Either that or possible fungus I think
Looks like a scratch. Nothing to worry about for now, it will go away. But keep an eye on it in case it gets infected.
Small scratch imo, but your ammonia is high. I’d do an extra water change this week and then maybe the next week or two as well just to be extra safe, but it should come back down quickly. If you poured fish store water into your tank when you added the snail that could also cause a small imbalance in your reading, but ammonia shouldn’t be *that* high just from that. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it comes down while you keep an eye on your fish’s face
