I think My question is how can I catch bass and not feel that it was for pure luck ??? Maybe is the season?? That they started to feed in that little area where I cast?? Idk 🤷🏾

Maybe is a little early for me to be asking this but, how can improve the bass fishing?? 🎣
I’ve just caught 3 so far ever in the same
Week in a spot that I’ve been going for months and since my first catch I could only catch bluegills in the places I’d throw my lures, there’s a lot of deeper water in that same spot cause in opens up to huge lake but I always throw my lure in places that I’ve catch before I’ve seen more activity on the deeper side and I’m starting to using Texas Rigs with plastic worms to add weight for casting distances I’m using a medium light 5,6 cheap spincast and that has worked great for a beginner like me and I’m not trying to upgrade anytime soon I’m having so much fun that I’ve ordered another rod just like that but with a spinning reel so I can learn with that type of reel too

Weightless Texas rigged or wacky rigged senko on a medium light rod usually works, let it sink all the way to the bottom feeding line if you see the line moving strangely you usually have a fish. Give it a few reels and repeat the fall, work close to the bank or cover. They’re usually not too far from the blue gill or whatever bait they’re eating. Try a square bill crank bait or swim bait on a jig in a blue gill or shad pattern too if you want to be a bit more active!
