Spooked a Blue Heron as I was walking back to my truck. It flew low over the water and I saw multiple blow ups on the surface. I figured it was just carp but had to give it a shot. Picked one of the spots where they'd blown up and cast a yum dinger right in the middle, a few seconds later hauled this one in. Had to cut the hook because she got hooked in a weird way, and with the light fading I knew I'd either kill or trying to get the hook out or had to let her go with it.
