Betta Fish: An update! Thanks for all the great advice! I ended up covering the wall he was flaring at with a piece of pink cardboard. Johnny is way more chill now! Here’s vids of him yawning and coming out to greet me 🤣 (He’s a Betta Macrostoma btw, since a lot of people asked)

I tried using a black coloured screen, but the colour black apparently intensified his reflection and made him more pissed off 😅
^ it seems like pink works for him though. Which is nice cos pink is my fav colour 🤣

I can’t show the full tank cos the other side unfortunately shows a reflection of my room, but Johnny doesn’t seem to have an issue with the other side so I’m leaving it uncovered for now.

He’s still flaring at the occasional duckweed though. He’s really grumpy 😐. I guess that’s why I named him after Johnny 😐
(He’ll sometimes eat the duckweed if it pisses him off too much…)
