I’ve tried lizards frogs and a Texas rigged galaxy worm. No luck. I wonder if I’m just fishing wrong or if I’m using the wrong gear or watt. This is in southern Alabama freshwater. The entire lake is about a foot deep and absolutely loaded with bass.

Hmm I think I’d use a weedless floating popper and run it along the edge of the plants, bass love em esp when you get a good pop on retrieve. Fly or spincast
Get yourself a storm chug bug, a whopper plopper, a chug frog, and your set.
