I Plan on putting another bigger plant in it and a few leaves when I buy him tomorrow. Also I will transfer the guppies back in their tank. They where just there to cycle the tank.
i would definitely recommend more hiding spots but this looks like a nice simple set up. i also recommend suction cup leaves and/or logs, something for the top of the tank. betta hammocks on etsy or something will do the trick

looks beautiful! what a lucky fish. the only thing is (if possible) maybe add more water so it allows for more space
