Hi all,
I posted here yesterday about my beautiful angel, Puddleduck and I know a lot of people were routing for her but this morning she lost her battle and I am beyond heartbroken.
I’m beside myself with despair and I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to get through this. I will miss her forever and I pray that I will be reunited with her again some day.
I have bought a young Peace Lily and I will be burying my beloved girl in the pot which I will get to watch grow and flourish over time and I will know that it’s Puddleduck in a different form.
Please help me to get through this. Share your experiences with loss and how you found a way to cope because right now, I can’t see a way forward without my baby. 😭

I’m so sorry for your loss. 💔😞 She had the cutest name too! I haven’t lost a betta yet – I got my boys this year, but I love them and fuss over them a lot. I did lose my 16-year-old fur daughter Bettie in 2018 and it devastated me. She was my little soulmate and I still cry over her sometimes. I also just lost my dad this past May and I feel the pain of losing her was equally as bad as losing him because I loved them both so much. They were both so very precious to me. So I definitely feel your pain and my heart goes out to you. You gave your sweet girl a good life! That’s the best thing you could’ve done. 🙏💛
I saw puddleduck yesterday and I was hoping so hard she would make it 🙁 I am so so sorry that you’ve lost your angel 💔 you did an amazing job caring for her health and making her life amazing op, please take care of yourself 🫂💕
