I’ve been fishing all my life and I never landed a trout today changed that. I know I had a death grip on it, I’m a pike fisherman primarily and I was also keeping it. I honestly had no how fragile these fish are it because just crushed in my hand.

Congratulations! Big thing with trout is to make sure you bleed and ice them right away. Their meat will get mushy very quick in the warmth!
