Hello fellow Aquarists!
This is a 50g with this neat setup i've been working for (cough) 6 month now (cough), and i have not settled on stocking. I've been in love with Hillstreams for a while now, and would love to pair them with Rummynoses. If the Current isn't strong enough, i'd obviously add a powerhead.

Plan for this Tank is a Moss and Anubias exhibit, with a cryptocoryne backdrop and maybe a Lotus :>

I am worried that the raged surface is not suitable for Hillies, or might even hurt them (but i imagine they come across sharp rocks in the wild?). The Stones are slate and i'd say 99% are rounded (i payed attention to this).

Thank you for your insight!

Can someone explain why i am getting downvoted for asking a pretty reasonable question? I am super lost right now

You can definitely do hillstream loaches in there and more than just a pair. I would definitely plan on adding some power heads to create a lot of flow though because they are from faster moving bodies of water. Mostly found in fast moving rivers and streams. I think your tank looks great and people are just jealous.
