Betta Fish: Transformation update!

When I first got him, 15 minutes after being in his new tank, 36 hours later, and 3 days later! I decided to tentatively name him Aegis. Still unsure of what type he is (had a few people mention he looks more like a mahachaiensis than an alien). He’s my little mystery guy and has so much personality. He’s insanely active so I’ll be working on getting him in a 10gal eventually. He was shy the first day or so, but now he’s very social and quickly learned that movement near the glass = food time. He is RAVENOUS, and thankfully getting to a healthier weight pretty quick. Coincidentally, my cherry shrimp seems to be missing…
