Just figured I would drop some info for anyone out there looking at Fenwick. I was fishing Taylor Creek in Colorado and hooked up to a few nice fish (pic attached). 10 minutes after that fish my rod split in half for literally no reason during my back cast. I wasn't caught on anything, no snags, it literally just snapped. I thought the pieces just came apart but when I went to slide them back in place I realized I was SOL. I have been trying to contact Fenwick's customer service for 4 weeks. I have sent multiple emails + called 10 times (note multiple calls per day were for different extensions). They claim to offer a warranty but I literally can't get ahold of anyone to get the process started. I won't be buying their products going forward and I would recommend you look elsewhere as well.

You should try and return it to the point of purchase.
Man,sucks to see Fenwick still sucks. I worked at a fishing shopping in northern BC from 2013-2017, and had nothing but issues with Fenwick for those years. The same breaks over,and over and over, and they would never warranty anything.

I’ve had my fenwick Aetos 10ft 3wt for 5 years and I love it to death (I am poor)
Recently had to buy a new rod, I was between echo and orvis. Ended up going with echo because the replacement tip was 20 compared to 60 at orvis
