My town got hit hard by Hurricane Helene and we lost power for nearly a week. I bought these battery powered aerators in hopes that everything turned out alright. Luckily power was restored last night and my Flowerhorn was a resilient fish. If you keep fish you should keep these battery packs handy for emergencies. They saved my fish this week!

Power outages when you have fishtanks are terrifying, I agree. Especially with canister filters, if you’re not careful they can dump a bunch of ammonia into the tank when the power comes back on because there was no oxygen for the bacteria.
