I set this tank up March- added plants that had ramshorn snails and cycled until June when I added a couple loaches, betta, cardinal tetras and rasboras. I haven't added anything since then, yet somehow this morning I'm looking everything over and see… an assassin snail?! Where did he come from?! He's tiny- is he a baby? Can the assassin snail eggs lay dormant? Or has he just been there this whole time and I've never noticed?

He doesn’t seem super young to me but maybe isn’t an adult yet. I’m not super knowledgeable with assassin growth. He could have been an egg on the plants.
