Yes, it appears that you have upgraded to a Beckman brand net. The pvc coated material will be easier on fish and will be less grabby of barbed hooks that happen to roll around in it than a cheap non-coated net.

Yes but you want the big holes, those little mesh holes catch hooks like crazy and it drives me nuts lol

Yes better for the fish, the string nets can split their fins pretty bad. Also a little more convenient, the fish don’t get twisted up in the net as much

For the fish yes much better. If youre keeping them for eating net material doesnt much matter
