Wanted to share some of the gear I've been using this year as I have not been going out for tuna at all. I've taken to the BFS style of fishing as I've always been an avid light gear fisherman, even when going after tuna.
I've been going on half day boats and have been catching bonito on the 200 Calcutta Conquest and the Ryogas.
If anyone is interested in comparisons, let me know, I can write something up or answer some questions.
The Millionaire is a purchase I'm not quite sure what to do with yet. But I took it out on 4lb test and it was awesome for sub 5g. Switched to 8lb and was awesome on anything 5g or higher. I think the line I'm using is too thick though, I will be switching to Verivas and I'm sure it'll feel a lot better!
