Recently acquired a male betta from a friend who had received it as a gift. The friend didn’t want him so I volunteered to take him. I have zero clue about Betta. He came with a small 1 gallon tank and no filter. I decided to get him a 2.5 gallon with a simple filter system. I have had him about a week and so far so good I guess. His name is Phil! I just did a 25% water change this evening and add some betta balls. I just read that those can be really bad… should I take them out!?
Anyhow – any recommendations are greatly appreciated!! 😊
