I’ve been here with the a topwater frog for about two hours around the lake and haven’t gotten a single bite.

Debating on trying a soft plastic worm but there so many lily pads/plants in the water I’m not sure I’d be able to retrieve without getting stuck, even if it was texas rigged haha.

  1. Honestly I might catch hate for this but what I would do is I would toss a ned rig on with a light sinker (1/16 is what I use) and then rig the worm weedless, normally I get pretty good bites when nothing else is hitting. Your frog should be doing wonders though tbh. Closer to shore are there lots of minnows? Have you seen any movement on the water?

I would Texas rig a ribbon tail worm or Senko or craw with the hook point buried. Or a weightless fluke
