I see several fish in this pool of creek water that weren’t interested in my rooster tail or swirly tail at all. Anybody know what they could be or how to catch them? I saw a big carp and some smallmouth a little further up stream.
Pretty sure those are trout, you can get them to bite a spinner but they might be a little less finicky if you could get your hands on some flies. If not try a trout magnet or some salmon eggs that may work, they tend to sit in the current and wait for food to drift down and come their way.
