It functions much like a classic spinnerbait but basically better in every way as far as I can tell. Lighter, casts further, more weedless. Not to mention the obvious benefit of being able to make them for less than $1 a piece. I've been making my own inline spinners for a while just never thought of setting something up like this.

I’ve been doing this on fluke type lures in the salt and jerking them in really hard, works great on long rods where you can get a long pull.
