I just wound up a new braided line and apparently had too much mono line spooled underneath. how bad is it? Can I still fish with it or will I get wigs straight away?
Take a bit of the braid off so there is a lip showing.

Definitely too much line on there. Gonna wanna take off some. I personally like to have about an 1/8 to 1/16 of an inch of gap from my line to the end of the bevel of the spool.
