Been fishing for stripers since 2018. Located in Fairfield county, CT. Still my two best catches to date, although the last 2 years I haven’t been fishing too much due to illness and then new gf (ha). The 39″ was caught in a tidal river in early March. We are lucky to be able to fish for stripers year round in our area due to a tidal river having holdovers up to 50″ all winter, which is really when I do my damage.
Really hoping to get out for the fall run because I have only fished twice this summer.
