Just got this really cool oldschool looking tank, came with an Eheim canister filter (I’ve never used a canister filter, so I have no clue how yet), a bunch of tubing, a penn plax silencer air pump, and a bag of filter floss. Found it at local free store. Going to clean and test soon for leaks. Is this worth keeping/fixing?
measured tank, is about 30 gallons.

I would be happy I love how a hex tank looks. So long as you’re prepared to reseal if necessary, and add plenty of water movement should make a lovely tank! Best of luck!

Leak test the F out of it! Reseal if need be but I’d have scooped that up as well!

as the others said reseal it maybe.. and get another filter. that model is old.. and had some weakpoints.. i used it but always had problems and a friend of my who had a petshop in the past stopped selling them becouse it was trouble all the time.. nice find..

At best, after you leak check. I’d honestly replace all those older parts and just get new stuff.
