Didn’t get a great picture of the guy, I had caught and released him within 6 minutes.(The hook had gone through both lips, so I was leaned down to keep the rod from pulling it harder)

I’ve got a pond near me that I have been arguing with my dad about for over a decade. I know I have seen a bass in there, but he’s been fishing it (very occasionally) for literally 60 years and never caught one. DCR says no bass either.
Then last year, I finally pulled up a tiny largemouth, took a photo, and practically skipped home to rub it in his face. One of my favorite memories.
