Im fishing in a dark river, targeting channel catfish, walleye, and northern pyke.
Im not looking to eat what I catch most the time, so I’d like to keep my lures synthetic as I understand they’re more difficult to catch fish with. im new to this so any advice would be appreciated.
if I need to use night crawlers or hotdogs im not opposed just looking for options, thanks!

Jiggy boy with the creature bait
That crawler on the blue jig works for me on bass. Usually I run a curly tail on my small jigs so maybe give those a try.
Second row on right. I do well jigging swim shads / swim baits. Smallmouth love them bouncing off the bottom
