It’s fungus that grows on new wood when you freshly put it underwater. A bit different than algae and less of an issue. It’s very normal and will go away on its own eventually. You can also remove it manually during a water change.

This is black algae, usually is from low CO2. U can add 1.5 ml Hydrogen Peroxide per gallon of water. Buy some fertilizer with co2 in it. Plants grow slower with low co2 and dont take nutriens as much.
