Reminds me of the Mirrolure Lil John – a small little soft plastic stickbait. Really good bait – while I haven’t used them, my friend uses them with great success. They are very versatile. You can jig them on a jighead among other ways. They are great little bite size morsels that a Spotted Sea Trout wouldn’t hesitate to gobble up!
Also: that treble hook on the back is called a “stinger hook” – it’s meant to hook the fish, even if they nip at the bottom of the lure and don’t get all the way up to the main hook.
