If you have a fish tank at home, you’ll be familiar with these stains. You can easily clean these stains using a blade, but if you’re a beginner, you can easily get the glass scratched and even get your finger injured.

There are many products available on the market that you can try, but many of them aren’t safe for fish. I personally use food-grade citric acid mixed in water to clean these hard stains, and it works really well. It doesn’t harm the fish, as long as you don’t get a lot of solution mixed to the water column. I personally use it on water change days.
