my girlfriend and i fished a nice spot and i caught the most i have in a single day. we noticed these bass were on average, more aggressive, bigger, and had much sharper/longer teeth than any other spot we go to
does anyone know what causes their teeth to be sharper than other places we go?
more info: most of the other ponds we go to have bluegill for the most part, and maybe some other bait fish for the bass. i noticed that there were a lot more tiny bass schooled up near the shore. and after we left, i also noticed i didn’t see any other species of fish in this pond. there was a lot of grass, even in the middle of the pond. deepest point was 3 feet maybe and the grass was never more than a foot from the surface imo. caught everything on a whacky rig. my girlfriend started on texas rig and switched to whacky. the first picture shows about 1/3rd of the pond’s size. 5th picture kind of shows teeth of one of the smaller ones caught that day
thanks

Looks normal to me. Wait until you catch a lunker. Bigger bass have bigger teeth.

I have read but am not sure how factual this is. ‘If a bass is feeding mainly on other fish it will have longer teeth, if a bass is feeding on crayfish/rocks it will have worn down teeth’.
