Awesome! I did the same not too long ago. Thought I was lost a couple of times. Few scraps and bruises, but it was worth it for an absolute killer day of fishing. Your pictures are great!

I’ve been looking at this lake for weeks–mapping out potential routes on satellite and topo maps, watching weather forecasts, thinking about runoff conditions, etc. Today was the day.
It took 10 miles of hiking, nearly 3,000 feet of elevation gain over the course of the day, and an entire roll of trail tape, but I finally made it in. And DAMN was it worth it. One of those unforgettable days on the water that I’ll keep with me forever.
