I don't have access to a boat, and this is someone's back yard area, so I can't roam around the shore of the lake. This is what I am working with as far as fishing space goes. There's catfish, bass, crappie, bowfin and gar in this lake. Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated. It's been two days staying here, and no luck so far. I have catfishing supplies, as well as shad lures. Thr lake here is pretty murky, so there's not really any clarity. I'm in North East Louisiana.

Catching really anything would make me happy.

The light blue over the drawing is where there's shade. What advice do yall have?

  1. You could probably cast anywhere and be fine since you are already near structure. But try fishing next to the trees (be careful of course. Fish near it and along side it but dont get your lure snagged) And cast under the pier or near the posts on it.
