My fishing buddy came to visit for a few days to get a good taste of some New England fly fishing. Spent two days tent camping in the woods searching for big brook trout and landlock salmon. I got into a few small salmon. We both got into some smallish trout during the days on caddis and stonefly dries. But when dark came, the bigger fish started looking up to some mouse meat. After the woods we headed to the Atlantic and we each had the pleasure of boating some nice stripers on pogie flies. A great way to spend a few days with a buddy and land some sweet fish.
