eBay is typically very safe to purchase from. Always look at the vendors sales numbers, usually a good indicator if they’re legit or not, judging by the pic above, the 10,000+ purchases from the vendor is a good sign. Welcome to the place where you’ll buy all your new reels from here on! I had a buddy spend $370 after tax for a new Daiwa Zillion SV on Tacklewarehouse, I purchased the same reel for $274 with shipping on eBay the same day and got mine in 4 days before him. He wasn’t pleased to say the least🤣

I’ve had good luck with this kind of stuff but it is a dice roll. It is common for stores to sell on eBay alongside their normal store front, so it could very well be that. Does it have free returns? If so, might as well try it. I also look to see if the seller mainly sells other fishing gear (that seems legit) or random shit.
