Thursday was my first catch on a fly rod (some bluegill at a very busy pressured spot on the 4th of July), and now I finally found the right recipe for bass at the spot 10 minutes from my house. Fucked up bringing it in, but at least a new rod tip is only $20 so its a cheap lesson.
