I am a walleye and river fishing noob that has basically always bait cast for bullhead and trout. Moved to an area that has Walleye, and started fishing for them this summer for the first time. Over 20 miles of creek and 10+ spots the locals say have monster Walleye, I pulled about a dozen 8-14” fish this year.
Went out early this morning and landed this 19” fish on one of my first casts, at a spot I had been to several times before. Awesome way to wrap things up before the snow comes.
