Lost my chatterbait this morning in the rocks, went to try this little guy, I’ve tried it once before and I can’t ever seem to make it perform any action that looks enticing imo. Maybe I’m missing the point of it. Do you jerk it in little tugs while the line is slack? Or is a steady retrieve? I want to like it, but I don’t feel confident in it. Thank all!

Jerk it in two or three pops at a time with varying pauses in between, retrieve slack and repeat.
Pop pause and repeat. Just a light rod flick is enough
