Get him a lovely new home with more space and a filter and heater ! Read the instructions above and if you have any specific questions come back and ask !

Uhhhh well first he needs a bigger tank. At least a 2 gallon. Then it needs some plants for him to rest on. Then you need an air stone or a filter depending on size of tank.
Poor little guy. As others have said, you need a bigger tank that has been cycled, a heater and filter. I did the same so don’t beat yourself up. Just do a quick education on proper care. Mine is now happy in a 10 gallon tank with his snail to keep house for him.
