I’ve only ever tried tying my own hi-lo rig for perch. Bought this rig to go after striped bass but I’m not 100% sure how to attach it.
I assume I put a sinker on some line on the third hole and attach the swivel part to my main line?

The clip gets the sinker and the swivel gets attached to your main line.
It’s a fish finder rig. You attach your main line to the swivel and then snap your weight into the clip. It allows the fish to take your bait without initially feeling the weight. It also allows your bait to drift some distance away from the weight, thus “finding” the fish.
