I noticed there's no eyelets on the hook, so they Must be snelled.
Is a French hook just a hook where the eyelet is just a piece to keep the snell from sliding off, or is there any other major differences from a normal snelled J hook (aside from the eyelets). I also noticed there's no loop knot on the other end of the snell either (Alberto is stronger anyway)
I do believe that these should be really good with a little piece of earthworm for panfish, and at 10 cents a snell, I figured they were an OK buy. May even tie one on to my cane pole and see what I can pull in.
