Took the vision 110 out pond hopping last night for about an hour.

Landed 25 fish with a 3.86lb big fish. All on the jerk bait, all in the pitch black.

Here’s what I learned: they will eat it at night, but they want a long sweep, then a tight hard jerk. They hit immediately following the jerk. This gives them enough movement for their lateral lines to allow them to key in on the location. Missed a couple on the sweep but they were mainly short striking, they would come back for it on the jerk.

So yeah, thanks.
