Replacing the treble hooks on my lures with regular hooks, should I only put one hook on or more?

I feel like having just one would be better, but I can’t decide which would be best, I’m trying to figure out which would by most likely to hook closest to the lips, avoiding gut hooking. I figure the tail hook would be closest to the mouth when they bite, but it might also be further back in the throat also, whereas it would be harder to catch them on the front hook.
