It's taken me months to get a photo of it. Pizza Party is a 2 year old marble betta. I now know that specialty breeds like this are prone to cancer for a variety of reasons.
He's in a 10 gallon, heated, filtered tank with 2 corys. I add concentrated almond leaf extract to his tank every water change. I tried salt treatments for a bit when I first noticed it but decided it may not be helping.
He mostly sits at the bottom of his tank or in his log. He can get to food but he has trouble swimming.
I know there may not be much I can do but I mostly just wanted to commiserate and show off my sassy, beautiful boi.

probably not, i’ve been people so at home surgery on gold fish but i wouldn’t do that, just make him comfortable which it looks like he already is
