Question about Super Lucky first walleye catch

So I’ve been trying to fish walleye deeper for like a week straight. I came last night w/ my dad and brother, only for a couple of hours at 12am.

I throw in a Bobby garland 2 inch monkey milk baby shad right at shore and try to jig in this area where white has hang out, and two minutes in I saw a big what I thought was a white bass slowly approach it from behind and POUNCE.

I reeled it in thinking it’s a white bass, but then was like wait a minute, that could be a walleye!

Anyways the main question is MY BROTHER caught a saugeye at that exact same spot! Do you think that this is where they hang out? It was the exact same way and everything!
