Need stocking ideas for 10 gallons! Just shrimp and snails in it now. I’ve had bettas for a few years but looking for something different.

Forgot to mention, I’m willing to move the snails to another tank but I’m not open to wrangling all the shrimp lol. This is my cull skittles tank so I won’t mind if some fry get munched on.

I had a 10 gallon, you can never go wrong with a small school of neon tetras(5-6), Cory catfish are a good option as well(3-4) and maybe 2 dwarf gouramis I specifically love the powder blues. If you don’t like tetras danios are also a great option as well as guppy’s and harlequins rasbora.

And you don’t have to get the Cory’s if your planning on keeping the shrimp:) also keep in mind a good rule of thumb is an inch per gallon

  4. I’m partial to killis (especially clown killis!) and rasboras of any variety (along with a type of loach/Cory for cleaning patrol)

6 Galaxy rasboras would be beautiful in there. You could also put almost any kind of neon tetra

I’m a big ghost catfish fan, you can see through them and when they catch the light they are like little rainbow fishies
