So we got my daughter a fish and just the last two days I noticed her kind of slowing down a bit, but nothing concerning until this morning. I woke up and this is how she was breathing. I also realized her fins probably aren't looking great, but this is our first fish so I don't have much to compare to. She's got a 3 gallon tank, I do regular water changes, and I put the filter on high for now to see if maybe there was an oxygen issue. She is eating but she's just not swimming as much as she used to. We've had her maybe a month now. She gets 2-4 pellets twice a day and the occasional freeze dried daphinia (sp?). I tested her water and everything seems to be normal, so I don't know what else to try.
I read about possibly fasting to see if that helps? Am I overfeeding her possibly?
