Caught in Sept. 2 years ago, only got this picture as I was trying to unhook and release as quickly as possible since It was my first shark and wasn't sure on species and wanted to get her back in the water asap. She swam off strong and I've always been curious as to the species, but haven't been able to figure it out off this one picture.

How big was it roughly? Looks like a sandbar shark to me. I’ve caught quite a few of them over the years in the same area, particularly crescent beach (south CB) south to tables by PAFB.
Take reminds me a bit of a thresher but not long enough, maybe it’s just the angle.
