Earlier today I bought some glowlight and blacklight tetras and this odd little shrimp thing somehow ended up in my bag?? I put it in a container in case it’s harmful but it’s a sort of dirty green and moves around like a lawn shrimp, but is (I assume) fully aquatic. It is absolutely not a brine shrimp, so it can’t be some weird escaped food… can I keep it? He’s kinda cute. I named him Steve

You’ve got a scud! Delightful little aquatic amphipods. If you keep him separate, you can feed him very small amounts of raw veggies or crushed fish flakes. If you house him with your tetras, they’ll get some free fish food.
